Making an Appointment

  • If you have registered for the Patient Access App, please log in and make your appointment here.
  • If you are not registered, please fill out the form at the top of this page to make your appointment.
  • If you would like to make a request for a telephone consultation appointment with your GP, please fill out this form.

Cancel an Appointment

It is important that you inform the reception staff if you are unable to attend your appointment. This will allow us to offer that appointment to another patient. If you fail to notify the Practice, you will receive a letter informing you that you have defaulted. We may remove persistent defaulters from the list.

Please call 023 8061 2051 and cancel as soon as possible: someone else may need to see the doctor urgently.

Or you can cancel your appointment online using Patient Access or The NHS App if you have signed up to the service. This is only if you arranged your appointment more than 24 hours in advance. (excluding weekends and public holidays). To register and use these services, please see the Online services below.

Extended Opening Hours

The Practice offers extended hours appointments from 18:30 - 20:00 Monday - Friday (pre-booked appointments only) and a Tuesday morning for 7:30 am for phlebotomy .

St Andrews Surgery

Appointments are also available with a GP on a Saturday at St Andrews Surgery these are prebooked appointments only. Please contact a member of staff to make an appointment.

Home Visits

Whilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible. In this respect, if you do need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 10:30am where possible.

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP or a paramedic will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires a home visit. The clinician will decide how urgently a visit is needed.

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if your GP has referred you. You may also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
